To his left are a fawn with a doe while two bucks are sparring to the right to determine their rank.

This version has the so-called "cobalt" finish: The painting has been applied with the cobalt background (under-glaze) color. The relief appears more colorful and shiny on the cobalt version vs. the rustic decór technique. There is no "better" version - It's simply a matter of personal taste. If you prefer the rustic version with cobalt background, then please order the other #957-RU stein.
