Switzerland - also called The Pearl of the Alps - may appear very small on a map, but it is GREAT in diversity.
Fantastic mountainous landscapes, beautiful valleys, clear lakes and its unique towns are a delight to the visitor's eye.
Due to its unique geograpic location, French, Italian or German are spoken in the various regions.
These diverse ethnic groups also are the reason for Switzerland's diverse and excellent cuisine.
But as different as the Swiss may be, they all have one thing in common: They love beer!
So there are lots of good reasons that we crafted a commemorative Switzerland beer stein.
Besides the renowned sights/cities like Bern, Montreux, der Rheinfall, Interlaken, Lucerne, Zermatt, Geneva, Grindelwald und Zürich, the upper rim depicts various native elements, Switzerland is famous for as well: Edelweiss and alpine flowers, wool hats, cowbells and beermugs.
The motif of Lucerne is framed by two alphorn blowers.
